Testimony / Inspirational / Put Away All Doubt in Christ Jesus
« on: May 13, 2018, 10:32:56 AM »
And surely the Word of God holds true!  It is pure beyond any doubt, and perfected through the workings of our Lord God and Savior, well beyond measure.  It does not lack in consistency, nor in ability.  It strikes at the hearts of man, as only the Word of God should.  As the world breaks down, the Word of God still builds up.  Where man lacks understanding, the Word of God brings peace in the hearts and minds of it's laborers, building in them true and godly knowledge, understanding, and wisdom; providing the tools of declaration and edification of the Holy Spirit which only God can input.  The day shall come when we see the Lord return in the clouds of glory, and all man shall gasp at His majesty, and hit their knees declaring Him King of all Kings, whether they be bond or free, wicked and righteous.  We shall she that serpent Satan threwn into the bottomless pit, and this world will be turned once again to her former glory, at was intended form the beginning when she was created, and all of God children shall be with one heart and one spirit, in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen!

Testimony / Inspirational / Re: Why do you believe in God?
« on: May 02, 2018, 02:24:59 PM »
Why not believe? If I am wrong I will have lost nothing, if I am right I will have gained everything. Besides, Jesus was a pretty cool guy, a really cool guy and I admire Him.

I've heard this before, and I agree 100%. What does anyone have to lose by believing?

Personally, I've believed in God for as long as I can remember. I was raised Catholic but converted and became born again in 2003. So for me, there really wasn't a choice to believe or not. God has just always been there. Period. There has never been a time in my life when He didn't exist. Even when I was disobedient, sinful, and far away from Him, I always knew He was still there.

And yes, Jesus is awesome. I can relate to Him.

Very well said, Paul. I wish our perception would be more like that too, as a species. Thankfully, there are enlightened individuals to show others the way.

Bible Questions / Study / The best prayer I can think of praying
« on: February 26, 2018, 04:03:37 AM »
Dear Heavenly Father God. Let me pray to you first with thanks for hearing me and to openly say in prayer thst I'm sorry for hurting and offending you. For my sins Lord. I confess and repent. I pray never again to be so reckless. To pray those days are over. From now on its just me and you. I come to the cross and your heavenly thrown right now. I lay it all down on it all at your feet. Because through it all, I realise how much I need you. So I pray for your mercy and forgiveness. I pray you are in control. I pray with please forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me of them I pray. Through and because of my faith in you! Enough is enough once and for all! I believe and hope in you. I trust in your word for my salvation. May I find peace and joy in you and your spirit. To put off the old and renew my mind in you. And not just me. But my family and loved ones. Please bless them all with good health long life and happiness. Please restore us all back to you as your word says it will which we believe and rejoice in forever with love from our mind body and soul. Not just me and my family. But the whole world too as it is in Heaven. Thank you Father for your amazing grace and mercy and loving kindness that is better than life itself. Thank you for the hope you give that there is through your son my Lord and saviour forever more. Who makes all things new. This I pray. In His Holy name Jesus Christ.

Your eternal son and family in Christ.

Testimony / Inspirational / Hypergrace!

Another Spurgeon.

One to enjoy, remember, and/or think about -- depending on where you are today.

“I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.”
Eze. 34:26

Here is sovereign mercy-”I will give them the shower in its season.” Is it not sovereign, divine mercy?-for who can say, “I will give them showers,” except God? There is only one voice which can speak to the clouds, and bid them beget the rain. Who sendeth down the rain upon the earth? Who scattereth the showers upon the green herb? Do not I, the Lord? So grace is the gift of God, and is not to be created by man. It is also needed grace. What would the ground do without showers? You may break the clods, you may sow your seeds, but what can you do without the rain? As absolutely needful is the divine blessing. In vain you labour, until God the plenteous shower bestows, and sends salvation down. Then, it is plenteous grace. “I will send them showers.” It does not say, “I will send them drops,” but “showers.” So it is with grace. If God gives a blessing, he usually gives it in such a measure that there is not room enough to receive it. Plenteous grace! Ah! we want plenteous grace to keep us humble, to make us prayerful, to make us holy; plenteous grace to make us zealous, to preserve us through this life, and at last to land us in heaven. We cannot do without saturating showers of grace. Again, it is seasonable grace. “I will cause the shower to come down in his season.” What is thy season this morning? Is it the season of drought? Then that is the season for showers. Is it a season of great heaviness and black clouds? Then that is the season for showers. “As thy days so shall thy strength be.” And here is a varied blessing. “I will give thee showers of blessing.” The word is in the plural. All kinds of blessings God will send. All God’s blessings go together, like links in a golden chain. If he gives converting grace, he will also give comforting grace. He will send “showers of blessing.” Look up to-day, O parched plant, and open thy leaves and flowers for a heavenly watering.

Christian Discussion / Black Hebrew Israelites
« on: February 26, 2018, 03:51:49 AM »
About I'd say an hour or so ago, I was having an Instagram conversation with one of the Black Hebrew Israelites I made previous posts about, and he made some intriguing points that scared me even more. They started talking about how the white ancestors made the Bible and the teaching of Jesus all about being white, and that everyone is white. They said again that whites are descendants of Esau and are wicked. They said that Christianity is a false teaching of white supremacy, and that Christians are Gentiles that are condemned. There was a lot more scary stuff that I probably forgot. At this point I feel so scared and nervous because I don't know what is right or wrong. what if Jesus comes back and he says Christians were wrong. and we're all thrown into the lake of fire? I just don't know anymore. Someone please help.

Hello my fellow believers,
I lived as a Muslim for many years; However, It’s been months since I’ve been reborn into the one and only truth that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. I saw Jesus, he spoke to me clearly in my sleep for many consecutive nights and in my mornings it’s also clear that a higher being is helping me in every step. The more I surrendered to Jesus’s eternal love, the more i realised that he is the cure to every struggle i ever had. God is love and love is all I’ve seen from Lord Christ. Thus, i decided to start missionary work in Egypt, where i live.

I tried spreading the word of God, all i have for others is love and i want everyone to be saved just like I’ve finally been saved; Nonetheless, my country has a great Muslim majority and the punishment for apostasy in Islam is death. Needless to say, many see me with eyes filled with pure hatred and even intent for murder.
Out of fear for my life i stopped preaching the word of God, out of fear for my life i stopped admitting that Jesus is lord because otherwise, they would kill me or my family and even go as far as block your bank accounts and all that you own.

I truly love God, i wanna spread his word, i wanna show others the truth i have seen after many years, i truly want to serve but there’s a struggle within me, it goes as follows :

A- It’s unacceptable to denounce Jesus for he has said
“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:38).
"But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:33)

B- It’s wise to follow God only in my heart in the times of persecution and murder for he has said

“When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.” (Matthew 10:23)“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. ( Matthew 10:16 )

..........
I’m asking for your prayers and advice on what to do next......
i know it’s a great sin to denounce Jesus, i want to become a pastor, i want to do ministry work; However, persecution is a real problem over here. Help.
