While she works alongside Sister Liu, Sister Liu offers her a lot of suggestions and help, and often prunes and deals with her. She feels like these reprimands harm her self-respect and status, so she starts to harbor hard feelings toward Sister Liu. She not only seizes upon the chance of writing an evaluation to exact revenge upon her, but also misinterprets God’s words in gatherings to attack and exclude her. Her leader learns about this and deals with her, as doing things that way is essentially lashing out at and condemning another person, which disrupts church life. At that point she finally sees the evil she has done. What aspect of her corruption does she learn about through reading God’s words and self-reflecting? And how does she change?
