Please note: Sadly, due to the large amount of emails I receive, I am unable to respond to everyone. I’m so sorry about that! I truly wish I could! The shorter your email is to me, the more likely I will be able to respond. Thank you so much for understanding!
In Christ and with love,

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” -Ephesians 3:20-21

  1. What happens if you don't want to marry the person your dating? No sexual sin or any fornication. But I don't have strong feelings for this man. He doesn't draw me closer to God. In other words is it Me or is this God telling me something. Confused and need to be sure so I don't make a mistake.

  2. Mark, how long does it usually take for God to confirm the future spouse to you? I've hear and received confirmation from a prophet and also through dreams and visions so how come he hasn't received anything yet? It's becoming frustrating and I'm about to give up but I don't want to miss it if he's truly the one.

  3. Mark, thanks for the content! Helpful as always.
That said, I've recently learned the hard way how to go about building a godly friendship with a particular person you're interested in. We have so much stuff about godly marriage and dating, but not much on the "before dating" period. I applied marriage/dating aspects to my potential friendship with a girl I'm interested in and didn't even realize it. Dating and building a friendship before dating should be handled in very different ways. C.S. Lewis' 'The Four Loves' taught me that. Having more content on that would be very useful, I think, so we don't unknowingly pressure the other person or move too quickly.

  4. 1) When you can help someone more than you will hurt them
    2) When you are ready to love without idolizing
    3) When you can grow in itimacy without committing sexual sin
    4) When you are prepared to committ and move into marriage if God was to reveal the right person
    5) When God is highlighting someone specific to you

    Thanks a million Mark! 🙂

  5. I heard a sermon and the Pastor stated that he and the woman that he was dating were on a Missions trip in Africa (with other church members) and they both heard from God at the same time that they should be married. He and his wife have been married now for over 10 years and have three beautiful children. That is so beautiful! I pray that my love and I also are blessed to have this divine epiphany, so that we know throughout our whole beings that we are both for each other. 🙏 Lord God, Creator and Sustainer of Heaven and Earth, in your proper time, let this be so for me and my love. I love you Lord, and the glory is all about you, in Jesus Christ's name, AMEN.

  6. I’m relaxing, recuperating and eating a bowl of fruit and while I am scrolling I come upon your video Mark. I wasn’t looking for it, unlike in the past when I was looking for answers. I guess my point is God is faithful to provide answers for questions I didn’t realize I was asking. Thanks for the videos.

  7. What a coincidence that I got this video after months of self-reflection and coping with grief involving my breakup. Struggled with idolization, leaving whenever I’m scared, and endured damage from toxic relationships. Now, I see that I’m slowly getting ready.

  8. The last guy I dated wanted to make me an idol and told me I was his happiness, and that’s when I knew it was time to swiftly end it. You need to love yourself, know your identity in Christ, and know that God loves you before you enter a relationship.

  9. I went through a very bad break up recently and now I feel like I'm going to be alone forever
I keep thinking "if it wasn't God's will, then we wouldnt have broken up; does Jesus hate me? Am I even saved? If I wasn't then I wouldn't be ministering to junior high kids like I have been for the past year."
What can I do to prepare myself for the one He has for me?
