Host Morgan Freeman examines what various faith traditions predict about the End of Days. He journeys to the desert where he pores over the Dead Sea Scrolls, and to Rome to decode the enigmatic Mark of the Beast: 666. A meditative session with one of Buddhism’s holiest men begins to realign Morgan’s perspective—what if the apocalypse isn’t a planetary bloodbath, but rather a mental paradigm shift?

About The Story of God with Morgan Freeman:
Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman explores the meaning of life, God, and many big questions in between in an effort to understand how religion has evolved and shaped society. A different divine subject is covered in each hourlong episode, titles of which include “Creation,” “The Devil Inside,” “Afterlife,” “Apocalypse,” and “Who Is God?” To explore these topics, host and narrator Freeman visits nearly 20 cities in seven countries to see some of the world’s greatest religious sites, among them Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall, India’s Bodhi Tree, Mayan temples in Guatemala, and the pyramids of Egypt, and he immerses himself in religious experiences and rituals. “In some places I found answers, and others led to more questions. The constant through it all is that we’re all looking to be part of something bigger than us. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that we certainly are,” Freeman says.

  1. Did Nero demand that his name be on everybody's hand or forehead? And did it preclude people from buying and selling? If that was the case it would have been recorded somewhere.

  2. Who knew in 2015 that reality tv host Donald Trump would rise to President of the United States? Would go on to establish an embassy in Jerusalem. Broker peace between Israel and several Muslim neighbors, though that was thought to be impossible. Sometimes the smallest of steps make the biggest prints….

  3. Okay, after reading so many comments about Morgan Freeman. Lemme admit I love to watch documentaries just because of his catchy voice and the way he presents the content.. A living LEGEND.

  4. If we ever have that last moment on earth as a species, I hope I hear a voice like Morgan Freeman telling us, “You’re not alone. We’re together. We don’t necessarily know what we’ll see when we open our eyes on the other side, but as long as we are together, there will be hope. There will be joy. And there will be love.”

  5. The apocalypse is talked about here as if it is an end, it's the beginning of something else though, like the Monk said. If you think Revelation is about the end of everything, you are not reading the Bible correctly. Revelation is about the end of things that are temporary, which is very small part of an infinite God.

  6. Przepowiednia Apokalipsy >
Szczerze powiem że było to do przewidzenia.
Zmiany klimatu wykończą przede wszystkim świat.
pomijać fakt zmiany klimatu wyprzedziły hybrydy >

Zmiany klimatu są ściśle powiązane z reakcją z technologią źle wykorzystaniem nauki.
