A little over a month after being indefinitely banned from christianchat.com, I decided to look for other Christian sites. I did a Google search and typed Christian Chat, and there was one called christianchatcity.com. I signed up for it yesterday, and today I got a warning. You can see the warning by looking at the screenshot. I really don’t know much about christianchatcity.com because I’ve only been there two times. I went there yesterday, and then I went to it again today. I’m not really sure, but I think the various chat rooms are part of a bigger site called Chat City. I don’t really know. I went to the room called Singles Chat because all of the other chat rooms on that site were empty. Maybe it is a secular chat, but still, I didn’t know it was against the rules to post Bible verses, which is what I did while I was in the Singles Chat. When I posted Bible verses, I got a warning that said if I continue to post Bible verses, I might get banned permanently. These rules are a little strange considering the massive amounts of profanity and graphic descriptions of sexual activity that are described by other members. I admit that I didn’t read the terms of service in its entirety when I registered for a free membership at christianchatcity.com. If there’s a rule against posting Bible verses, I really don’t care. On the Internet, and in real life, I’m going to keep talking about God until I die. I do feel embarrassed that two different chat room sites have punished me in such a short amount of time. Am I really that annoying? Am I a troll? Christianchat.com banned me for “Promoting homosexual agenda,” because I said that I think gay marriage should be legal. Now christianchatcity.com is threatening to ban me because I posted the following Bible verses: “Ephesians 5:4 — Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.” “Matthew 9:13 — But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” I thought those verses were pretty harmless, but the other users got so angry about it that they reported me to a mod, and the mod gave me that warning. Let me make it clear that I have no apologies. Sometimes I don’t have the answers to certain questions like whether supporting gay marriage is a sin, or whether being Catholic is a sin. Those topics are not mentioned in the Bible. I have conviction, and I can guarantee that I will continue to spread God’s word. If that offends you, then I have just one thing to say: May God bless you all!
