With all of the attention given lately to the coming Judgment and the End Times, could you please explain the Rapture and the Tribulation? A man in a Bible study said that Jesus will not return until the Temple in Jerusalem is rebuilt. Is this true?

  1. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

    Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

  2. The saved people go in the Rapture this year. The other believers go up in the 2029 Rapture, and the rest of the people go up in the Rapture at the Second Coming, which happens when the Antichrist prepares for the Battle of Armageddon.

  3. The wording of 2 Thessalonians 1:5-7, when read carefully, shows that Paul expects to attain rest from suffering at the same time and in the same event that he expects the unbelievers to receive punishment, namely, at the revelation of Jesus with mighty angels in flaming fire. This revelation is not the pre-tribulational rapture but the glorious second coming. Which means that Paul did not expect an event at which he and the other believers would be given rest seven years before the glorious appearing of Christ in flaming fire. Vengeance on unbelievers and rest for the persecuted church come on the same day in the same event.

The wording of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2 suggests that the “assembling to meet him” is the same as “the day of the Lord” about which they are confused. But the assembling is the “rapture” and “the day of the Lord” is the glorious second coming. They appear to be one event.

  4. When I first was saved 43+ years ago.I thought most Christians believed about the same.esp you Pat. Over the years I have ' heard' you same some things…making me wonder about you. At times it really seems you don't believe in the actual return of the Lord at all..instead endeavoring to give it " wordly" explaination or " likening to"…I say He will LITERALLY return…and very soon – as do thousands and thousands and thousands..etc…
I pray you fully ind the truth…I just can't believe you've found it yet…that my disappointed thoughts…sorry…Is have felt this way many times watching and listening to you.😞

  5. WHERE DID YOU GET THE WORD RAPTURE it is no in the bible all they say meet Jesus in the cloud and not mention heaven do not add or remove from the bible your name will be removed book of life

  6. Wrong. I have respect for him, but he's wrong. Matt 24 speaks of the 2nd Coming, which is after the tribulation. Why? The Old Testament talks about the "time of Jacob's trouble" to reconstitute Israel during the wrath of God on earth when Jesus begins opening the seal of God's wrath in Revelation. A time which the Church is not appointed to, according to Paul. Read Luke 17 compared to Luke 21, you'll read the differences between the rapture and the Second Coming. Then compare Luke 17 with 1 Thess 4, you will see many connections. Matthew knew nothing of the Church, who wrote for Israel. Luke accompanied Paul who was the apostle to the Gentile Churches and understood the doctrine of the rapture of the Church. John talks about the rapture of the Church in John 14 where Jesus takes us to His Father's house, and compare that with John's Book of Revelation Chapter 4, where Jesus fulfills this by standing at the door to heaven, saying "come up here" and the Church appears sitting with their rewards in Heaven. Revelation 11:12 gives the same event from an earthly perspective for the 2 witnesses.

  7. Hello

The rapture is the catching up to meet Jesus as he descends earth at the second coming

When a royal visitor or important figure would come you would go out to meet them and escort them into the city

Jesus is coming to the earth
Believers will go up to meet him and descend to the earth with him

The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom!

Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! Believers will rule the nations with Jesus! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! They will rule the nations! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21

    Matt 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Jesus said the Father is the only true God!

    John 17
3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

  8. Proof of a pre trib rapture pay attention to the cloud and Clouds Jesus appears in. Act's chapter 1 verses 9 10 11 cloud. Luke chapter 21 verses 27 and 28 cloud. In Revelation chapter 1 verse 7 Jesus is coming with the Clouds. This is the second coming of Jesus.

  9. Scripture does not use the term "the tribulation," except in corrupt translations. Rather it says "that tribulation," which are two specific tribulations that occur in the end times: tribulation and great tribulation. Jesus then says, "After the tribulation of those days" (both tribulation and great tribulation) then comes His wrath, which we are not appointed for. Tribulation/great tribulation is a time of correction, refining, and testing periods for those that believe, but have been persuaded to believe another gospel, which has caused them to presume their salvation. Before that tribulation He will pour out His Spirit once again (Latter Rain), and all that receive the truth shall be saved. Rapture comes after that tribulation, which then comes His wrath, which is reserved for the ungodly and disobedient children.

  10. When Jesus comes the SECOND time He will appear to those who look for Him and love Him. Hebr 9:28.

This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.( Second time.Acts 1:11.)

Immediately after the tribulation Jesus shall appear from Heaven. (SECOND TIME) Matt. 24:29-30.

When Jesus comes the second time He will descent from Heaven and we will meet Him in the air.( 1Thes 4:16).

When Jesus comes the second time we will be gathering together unto Him.(2 Thes 2:1).

When Jesus comes the second time He will come in flaming fire and vengeance to those unbelievers who had fallen away from the truth and then Jesus will be glorified in his saints in that day.(2Thes 1:8,10).

Before Jesus comes the second time a falling away from the truth must take place for the antichrist to be revealed.(2Thes 2:3)

When Jesus comes the second time He will destroy the antichrist with the brightness of His coming and those who had fallen away from the truth..(2Thes 2:8,10).

Nobody is going to disappear (raptured) before Jesus comes the second time.

  11. Scripture does tells us the exact day of the Rapture, but it’s cryptic. No man knows that day or hour isn’t literal. It’s a Hebrew idiom. “Only the Father knows” would imply the Holy Ghost isn’t Omniscient. The Rapture will occur in the year 2061. My book is soon to be released in July or August 2021..

  12. "He that endureth to the end" fam there are 6 Trumpets before the 7th fam.. It's not complicated it's all in purity and simplicity.. As it is written.. It's a lot of them dudes with unsound doctrines fam, but remember this, "Psalm 37
    King James Version
37 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.

18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

28 For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever."

  13. The remarks Jesus made about the shortened day are in the last 45 day of the mark of the beast, the building of the temple Rev 11,1-14 all in the sixth trumpet or second woe. After the first five trumpets that take out 1/3 of the earth Rev7,9,14 then the jews will rebuild the temple. The seven years of Daniel starts in the sixth trumpet,

  14. The church isn’t talked about in Revelation after the church age in chapter 3 until after the tribulation. Why is that because the church “bride” will be raptured out before the great tribulation or Jacob’s trouble. The tribulation is for Israel and unrepentant sinners living at the time! Please read and discern scriptures for yourself and pray and ask the Lord himself for guidance not someone who says what they feel or believe. I Thessalonians 4 16-17 6 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
