You are right this is the very very first time I came across your video. N yes most churches is full of single muture women with less marriage men. N it should be the church dirty to help the single women find a suppose n the churches in Canada are not doing nothing . So some women or men goes outside or their country to find a wife or husband. Now how does a Christian mature women find a husband?
Marriage institution and singehood both are a calling that God endows upon His people. Not everyone has the power to marry or not to marry. God bless you servant of God.
So true
Thank you so much; so true.
Is there a printed copy of this?
I haven't found christian women in churches to be suitable for 40 years now. I don't believe I am called to be single. I am open to all now but I don't think any women are single and suitable any more. Too old perhaps. Suitables are obviously married. Same for women of course.
It's a gem, Stephen, much appreciated. My wife and I met on a Christian singles website called Christian Connection. We married within a year and a half of meeting, I am based in Northern Ireland, my wife to be was living in Essex, so it was long distance…. That was 12 years ago, the Lord has blessed us with 5 children. He is faithful!
I appreciate that someone has taken up on this topic. May God lead into further avenues!
As a bachelor of 50 years (nearly 51), I was interested in the angle you were going to take in the Nano Sermon. I am glad that you said that some people are called to be single.
I am always reminded of what Paul said, "7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn." I Cor 7:7-9. From this, Paul is saying that it is preferable to be single, if you can 'hack it'.
