I used to do a combination of Yoga and Pilates. I don't anymore but I have tried to find info whether if Pilates is okay to do. Any help on this question would be very helpful. God Bless you all.

My friend does her church fitness group and she said they talk about bible verses while stretching. And I said "oh you mean yoga?" And she said "well yeah, but our church forbids us to use the word 'yoga' but yeah that's what it is". Me:😲

I was a certified yoga instructor at the time that I became born again and one of the very first things the Lord put on my heart was to stop doing yoga. The word "Yoga" first appeared in the Katha Upanishads which is part of the Vedic texts.

The whole purpose of Yoga is to discover your inner divinity labeled as the "Atman" within the Katha Upanishads. Through meditation one could eventually discover they were divine by looking within and coming to the realization the Atman was both outside as well as within.

There is no such thing as "Christian Yoga". The whole idea behind Yoga from the first place the word appeared was becoming a god… Sounds much like what the serpent said to Eve in Genesis 3. India is full of serpent symbolism and the Vedic texts were brought into India by the Aryans.

The Aryans are the Iranians and Ancient Iran was called Babylon… The religions of Asia came from Babylon so a Christian should not at all be pursuing these practices. The Aryans veiled their religion in science and philosophy… Do not fall prey to vain philosophies and science falsely called brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Hindu cast system is void of God, void of love. I have a book on yoga for healing which states that yoga has nothing to do with Hinduism. Yea right. Before I came to Jesus Christ knew this was bull crap. Now that I have come to Christ this is reinforced. Plus Yogis even state it is religous, hindu, buddist, etc. They also state that it can bring you to divinity. Even luciferians like Aliester Crowley, H.P. Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Many P. Hall, and others state that yoga is religious and required to become divine. Right out of the horses mouths so to speak.

Yoga is a portal for demonic forces, ppl are too ignorant to dig and look for the truth! All new ages is crap, Alister Crowley the father of modern satanism did yoga, Madame Blavatsky introduce new age if you follow in their path you are in trouble! You can't serve two Master follow Jesus!.People who do yoga are very aggressive, they have mental problems, and also a strange tummy.

Yoga and acupuncture always seemed off to me, I'm glad I know why now. I almost fell into meditation and "being more conscious." Thank God I didn't go any further into that.

Years ago I hurt my eye really bad with shampoo & I was in pain for a while, I heard yoga could help with pain so I listened to a meditation on Spotify and sure enough the paid subsided from the controlled breathing but I never got deep into it thank you Jesus. This was before I was saved again and I think I may have done it another time after but didn’t get the same effect. A psychology teacher wanted us to listen to a Oprah Deepak 30 day meditation lecture for extra credit & I didn’t know it but I wanted to tell her I shouldn’t because it could open me up to evil. I never did that either thank you Christ

Thank you for this re-upload. i have a friend who has claimed to be saved, and "born-again", but is now slowly slipping back into the world. She was very much into yoga, even went to a 'healing retreat" to Peru with her instructor…she had turned away from this, but I am afraid she is drifting back into those friendships. Praying every day and binding those spirits over her, but it is exhausting for me.
