6/24/22, Roe VS. Wade was just overturned, thank you, Jesus.
Thank you Jeff Cavins and Fr Mike! It's taking me about 3 days to do one 1 day, but I have some neuro cognitive/brain damage so I need to slow it down, and thought I'd help any one else who many have trouble with speed processing and don't know you can slow it down (or speed it up – not sure how many would need to do the latter haha, but anyway). For any one who doesn't know, click the bottom right "gear" on the YouTube screen in between the "CC" box and the box within a box. Select your speed. I found this very helpful because of traumatic brain injury and it's physically overwhelming and nothing is setting in because I can't grasp it quickly enough. So, hope that helps! God bless you, and indeed, praying for all who are doing this, including our blessed fearless leaders, leading this! Thanks be to God! Godspeed. +AMDG+
God bless you father.i have needed help and now I have it …thankyou so much ..rayleen from Australia
You say”proscribe”, but the CC says “prescribe”. Troublesome for the hearing impaired.
DAY 4🙏🙏
Is there an explanation for early Bible characters living 950 years
Peace and Joy!
1:18 Genesis 7 and 9
Subject the flood God tells Noah take with you 7 pairs of clean animals but only one pair of unclean animal I thought it was only 2 of each kind and what is a clean animal or unclean
On my second year! Thank you for this blessing of the Bible in a year!
Thank you for clearing the nakedness part up I was seriously lost and yes I’m being serious . I’m sorry but I get lost on these metaphors and this is why I watch your videos because you have the best explinations.
I don't buy the biblical scholar's theory.
God has no compunction about telling us about evil deeds so let's not read more evil into things than He tells us. The son's action showed no love or compassion for his father. That's enough.
I’m not catholic. I had some negative things happen with the Catholic Church. So I gravitated to baptist style churches. You sir are a true servant of the Lord. I plan on sticking with you for the full year of this reading. HOME RUN and BRAVO.
Just saw your video, very helpful, now it becomes my daily routine to watch and learn it, thanks for sharing!
Since you touched on what sounds a lot like capital punishment I'd like to share my thoughts on the subject.
Yes, the covenant with Noah called for human bloodshed for human bloodshed but now it is not so for we live in the covenant with Jesus (love your enemies) speaking as his human state, more precisely the New Adam and His Mother Mary the New Eve for both are sinless exactly as Adam and Eve were before the fall of man due to the disobedience of sin. So now our covenant is similar before the flood; but not without original sin, for such will be in the end like the days of Noah before the great flood. Now Cain killed his brother Abel but God spared Cain and did not kill him but sent him away with a mark should anyone take vengence upon him their punishment would be sevenfold. I'm not sure what that means if Cain was to wander the earth maybe they would have to suffocate in the gases of Jupiter. Lol But seriously and I believe the CCC and the commands of Jesus are agreeably against taking any life that is human because of the new covenant with the Church. I know "Humanae Vitae" does agree as it gives rare instance capital punishment could be permitted like a gunperson killing masses should but killed to stop the violence but even at that, it would be better the gunperson be immobilized somehow. With the evolution of technology it could be done.
Sadly, I think sevenfold could be seen in the statistics of those correction officers working death row shortened life span. Watch a testimony of a ex-death row CO "There was Evil There," on YouTube.
I'm really enjoying the Bible studies. God bless you Fr Mike. I will try in the future not to be such a polemicist but it is my struggle and affliction.
Amen 🙏
Trust the Dove , not your son.
Heavy lesson !
I am so excited to start the BIY and very thankful with Fr. Mike and Jeff Cavins to give us this great opportunity to understand and live the Word of God in a more profound way. The Word of God is my life. Blessings!
♥️♥️♥️
May we all place our hearts under God’s dominion and grace! 🙏🏻
God bless you father ✝️
Thank you Father Mike. One time in my life I try to read the Bible with a group, and it was very difficult for me. Every month it was a book to study and finally it was very hard for me. My daughter recommended this Bible in a year and I’m delighted. Thank you again and many blessings to you!
I am a convert. I never knew that part of what Ham did to his father's wife, his own mother. It is awful that the new first family had a member who sank so low!
God richly bless you Father Mike. And God bless my fellow students of your Bible teaching.
Thank you for all you do Fr. Mike!
Im learning so much from this, Ive gone on to share it with others and strongly believe that God has blessed us with this to help us and be with us as we learn more about Our Lord ✝️ God bless you fr. Mike💞
Thank you father Mike
I wish I had did this last year. WOW. Even when you read, I can feel myself being lost. I SO look forward to your explanation of the stories and I feel a LOT more confident about my faith and understanding the bigger picture.
Gen. 9-22 account does not say anything about Noah's wife. Fr. Schmitz' explanation is unwarranted. Too much Freud taught in Seminary?

I’m 74 years old, thought I knew a lot about the Bible! I’m learning every episode! Thank you Father and Jeff for putting this together! Awesome!
Praying for you all 🙏🤗and for Fr. Mike 😇🙏🏾
Thank you Father Mike ❤️❤️❤️
Day 4 Bible in a Year
Thank you for taking the time to bring us Bible in a Year. It is very encouraging to have a worldwide community access to it. It helps me "read/listen" to the Bible more effectively as reading/doing much of everything by oneself can be draining and isolating.
I do however disagree with the idea that it is ok for us to eat animals and that it is morally acceptable to use animals to experiment on if it is for the well being of the human world.
It was never meant to be that way from the very beginning.
It's obviously due to the fall, and what was to be loved and part of the earth family, now due to the carnal nature/seed of the serpent/program of the devil in each one of us, has become the hunted, by those who need to satisfy that part of their nature that is not in full submission to God.
Coming to Christ is a step in the right direction to being reprogrammed/transformed, and little by little bringing the carnal nature under subjection to the dominion of Christ and crucifying it.
When we all have attained oneness with Christ, we will have won the victory over the devil entirely.
We are stardust, we are golden and we got to get ourselves back to the Garden – from American Pie.
My interpretation of those lyrics or taking it back for the glory of God is this: The music died when Adam and Eve were deceived by the serpent. The joy of life dried up and from then on it was just mere existence, not living the Life God intended for them.
In Christ we have to make our back to the Garden of Eden and seek restoration/reconciliation with God the Father/ Creator, and the song of our salvation and joy will be resurrected again. We will have new found love for one another and for the animals/creatures and would never ever want to hurt in any way those we love.
Many of us eat the meat of animals, but don't really want to. If we were empowered by God we would break free from that. So, we need to fast and pray for release from having to eat that which is of our animal family members.
The children of Israel had to live with the baby lamb/goat for a little while before sacrificing it. In that time, the pure in heart would get to know the animal and some would love the animal and when they would have to sacrifice the animal it would be a cause for much grief/emotional suffering. And in that grieve over sin/wrongdoing, and not desire the sacrificing of animals. But the wicked who became calloused just went on about it every time they needed to, and it never meant a thing.
Those who spent time with Jesus got to know Him, and mourned the loss of the One who loved them and who they learned to love, and sin became a heavy burden as it would grieve the One that paid the price to ransom their souls.
There are people who are so one with the devil that they prey on human souls. They get their food for life, in terms of energy, youth, name, fame, recognition, position, power to control and dominate through exploitation and oppression as they feed of the soul energy of the people they've latched onto through surveillance, or by stalking, and not by submitting to and trusting God to provide for them. They become obsessed to watching the person they're feeding off and don't want them out of their sight, and will go to great lengths to get other people to join in the bandwagon to watch/stalk the prey.
But, we, the redeemed, saved, trust in God to free our souls from the fowler's snare.
Thank you
'Ham was the father of Canaan?' Surely this is a mistake?
Think of how many babies, made in the image of God, being murdered in the womb of mothers made in the image of God! This is being funded around the world and now being used to make vaccines to save lives which is so against the Lord’s commandment of “You shall not Kill”! What is going on with the Church accepting this atrocity?! How does Our Father in Heaven see this sin?! I pray the the world wake up and turn to obey the Father’s commandments! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you, Father Mike, and thank you Father Joe Glab for introducing BIY to me.
Mattew 24:36
36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows,+ neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.
Mattew 23:8-10
8 But be not ye called teachers. for one is your Teacher, even Christ. 9 You are all brothers. And call no man father upon the earth. for one is Father, which is in heaven.10 And be not ye called masters. for one is your Master, even Christ….
“YOU must not let people call you ‘leaders’—you have only one leader, Christ!” (Matthew 23:10, The New Testament) With these words, Jesus made it plain to his followers that no man on earth would be their leader. Their one Leader would be heavenly—Jesus Christ himself. Jesus holds this position by divine appointment..
Jehovah “raised him up from the dead and . . . made him head over all things to the congregation, which is his body.”—Ephesians 1:20-23.
2 Since Christ is “head over all things” with regard to the Christian congregation, he exercises his authority over all that takes place within the congregation. Nothing that occurs within the congregation escapes his notice. He closely observes the spiritual condition of each group of Christians, or congregation. This is clearly apparent in the revelation given to the apostle John at the end of the first century C.E. To seven congregations, Jesus stated five times that he knew their deeds, their strong points, and their weaknesses, and he gave counsel and encouragement accordingly. (Revelation 2:2, 9, 13, 19; 3:1, 8, 15) There is every reason to believe that Christ was equally familiar with the spiritual condition of other congregations in Asia Minor, Palestine, Syria, Babylonia, Greece, Italy, and elsewhere. (Acts 1:8) What of today?

whaaaat? I would've never known about this nakedness thing wow thats brutal
🙂
Since it was the first time a vineyard is being grown, I feel it was the first time Noah had gotten drunk. In the heat of the vineyard and drunkenness he must have disrobed and passed out. Now he is vulnerable. Instead of the son helping him,he mocked him but the other two brothers helped him. So when Noah came to realize what happened, he knew which son was evil and which were good.Which son he could trust and which son he could not.
