As for Aliens visiting earth , I would say the only thing we can say is with our knowledge and technology, we could not travel vast distances through space in the length or our lifetime, however if there was a race of Aliens that had existed and had developed science and technology for a say a million years longer than us. we have no idea what they could do. And i think if there were Aliens it would be obvious why they would choose the earth to come and have a look at

I certainly think ET contact is more plausable than any "god" and possibly the ET's were the "gods" ? Worth exploring and discussing.

The term “Supernatural” is a stupid term in my opinion. I wish people wouldn’t use it, What the term really means is impossible outside of fiction. If the supernatural was somehow confirmed to exist, even if it was relating to something considered to be the biggest scientific breakthrough in history, it would no longer be considered supernatural, it would become a natural phenomenon with naturalistic explanations. So in that sense, the supernatural is not something of which we cannot determine the probability of existing, it is by definition impossible.

An atheist will never have a show pushing atheism.

Someone who makes a career out of attacking God has proven that he actually does believe there is a God. There is a word for that; MISOTHEIST. Aliens are way more plausible than God. Why? We found fossilized bacteria on Mars thanks to our Rovers and probes. Some meteors that we collected had them as well indicate that there is very likely life on other planets beyond our system.

There is a huge difference between Alien Abduction stories and the Resurrection stories.
In Church, the pastor has not tried to convince me that people have been abducted by aliens.

The word ''supernatural'' has always annoyed me. Because if something that was supernatural actually was real, it would therefore be part of the natural world. So why would we need to call it supernatural? The mere fact that something is supernatural, is proof, in and of itself, that no one has proven it really does exist. It is damn near synonymous with the word ''magic''.

You really have to be a stupid human being to believe that this show has any bit of Truth.

One thing Matt always gets wrong in these discussions is the part about "You can believe anything based on faith". Faith as an internal "justification" requires a strong emotional response to keep the faithful engaged and believing, so if they don't feel it, they won't want to believe something without evidence. What Matt should emphasize more is the lack of necessary connection of "feeling something is true" to logically justified truth.
