There are savvy teachers. There are people more spiritually experienced. But look anywhere and there is the Truth. No requirement to be what you are. It already is.

When you are able to separate from your ego and yet house it within your physical body and mind realm, and when there is complete acceptance of everything around you when you are awake, then you are enlightened.

When the Ego is no longer your Master but is just a shy guest in your physical abode.

When life becomes as easy as breathing, when your mind is no longer restless and you are not pursuing life. When there is no trace of fear of anything in you. When the concept of “I” is blurry and no longer well defined.

Once I have heard, that Enlightenment in BuddhaDharma is not dualistic perception but the Inseparable Union of Compassion and non-dual Wisdom. "What to step into and what not to step into" is dualistic intelligence, not non-conceptual non-dual Wisdom and Compassion of the Thus-gone-ones!

The question isn't how they know about your Enlightenment, or even if you are enlightened. The question isn't even whether or not I know I'm enlightened. The question is how do I embrace myself fully. It isn't about the label of enlightenment and it isn't about showing it to other people, it's about living a life in alignment and when you do that by nature you are enlightened and have no reason or need to show it or to prove it or to express it in any way that goes beyond simply being aligned with who you are

Sadhguru, With my deepest regards to your wisdom, in my opinion, in addition to what you oversimplified to your followers about signs of Enlightenment, you could have also referenced to chapter 2 of Bhagavad Gita which provides a comprehensive checklist to test signs of Enlightenment. Reference to original source of wisdom is important to protect continuity of our itihasa and sanatana culture . What we know today is largely fuelled by past knowledge and it's important to acknowledge that honestly.
