One of the main roles, if not the most important role, of the Christian parent, is to teach and disciple their children in the Word of God. We have been given the greatest task of all time, to raise our children to know God and his Word. We are not only supposed to read it to them but also to teach it and live it out, especially the live it out part. The Bible gives us very real and specific instructions on this. The word of God is to be taught in every part of our lives. Not just on Sundays. Not just at church but in every facet of our every day lives.
But this task could be daunting. The idea of being responsible for their Biblical knowledge and understanding can invoke many fears and inadequacies in us. You may feel unprepared or incapable. You may think that you don’t know enough about the Bible or are unqualified to teach it to your children. Well, we are here to encourage you that you can and must. That God has called you to be the main place that your children learn about Him. You can do this and we want to help you get started.

Love this and your content! Need advice on discipling young kids. We are trying to discipline together but we both have different ideas on what to do. Thanks
Do you have a video of the ten commandments you made for your kids room? I'm so into making in myself
Thank you Guys 💕🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing 💛
I tried to overlook it, but I just can't take Biblical advice from a man wearing one of those ridiculous earrings.
We just found friend in you guys absolutely enjoyed this video and it has given us so much practical tools for our devotions. Love from SA!
Great Video!
How do you initiate lively and enthusiastic conversations with your partner about our individual time in the book with our partner? I can spend hours in the bible and in conversation but it seems very difficult to consistently engage my partner?
Wow !! This video is wonderful!!! I got some great tips and ideas !! Thank u so much. We are a jewish family and yes we have scripture in a little decorative tube on each and every door post, and yet i have never talked about this to my kids ! Ur so right! My kids never see me reading the Bible because I only do it when they are sleeping! , but now that will change, you’ve inspired me so much! May G-d bless you and your family! And in hebrew: שאלוהים יברך אותכם ואת בני משפחתכם !
good tips family thank you!!!
I want to share a little story with y’all.
When my wife and I got engaged she wanted to have the wedding done by a pastor and in the church. As I was not a church person at the time, I told her no and that I want a justice to do the service.
Fast forward a couple months after the wedding, a family friend invited us to church. Decided to go, both me and her, after going for 3 months, I decided to open my heart to the lord and was baptized shortly afterwards.
That was almost 10 years ago and have never looked back. God has been a big part in our marriage and life and now our kids life.
Thank you for this series and the books it’s amazing!
Thank you for sharing the words of God

oh The Bible Story books are BEAUTIFUL! the "rewrite" of the Bible for a kid audience is not only accurate, but beautiful and capturing! but also the illustrations are just gorgeous! 🙂 i love them

in revelation, there are marks – one on the hand and forehead and one on the forehead.
the hand is relating to work. and in THIS verse (deut 6:8), yes – having it in your hand, is the work youre doing in your life. thats a really good connection.
the forehead implies your frontal lobe and where you make your decisions.
(the interpretation i have is that the mark will either be chosen for evil by force (hand) or decision (forehead), OR the choice for God is the mark on the forehead. 🙂 )
i was so desperate to find the version of the new testiment song to memorize all the books.. but i cant find it. there are a lot of them, but none of them that i found was the version i learned as a child. but anyway. songs are definitely a way to do it! 🙂
whiteboard markers work well on your mirrors. 😉 ive written verses or messages on the mirrors. 🙂
in the Bible story book, book 1, he talks about a girl who really loved the begats. 😉 didnt even really know what it was, but she really loved them. so dont pass them over too much! 😉
Thanks for sharing the Luke 6:31 with your kids! I have a 3 year old, 1 year old, and 3 month old – I'm going to start using the verse to help teach my 3 year old how to play nicely with her brother. Having Biblical reasons behind our discipline is such an inportant thing. And thanks, also, for the reminder that our physical Bible actually needs to be read by us (not just on the phone), and be in a prominent place in our home!
Thank you for this. My husband and I really need to do this. We don't even read the Bible together. We go to Church and Small group together. But that is all we do together when it comes to learning the Word of God
I absolutely loved this episode. So many great suggestions. I would love to implement this in my family.
Another great video! This is so nice on how to get kids involved with the bible! We do not have any kids right now but this makes so much sense! To have the Bible somewhere visible being used. Also to have the kids have one of their own too. Thank you for informing us with reading out loud and reading it from the physical bible and not on our phones :). Always enjoy listening to your videos. Keep up the great Godly work!
Thank you so much for sharing we have 3 little ones under 5yrs and it's not easy to get them to be still for a minute. This video has truly encouraged me to keep doing it. And I learned new tips. May God continues to bless you and use you guys. 😚😚😚
This spoke to my heart thank you for this. As a new father I'm always looking for resources to make sure I'm being the man of God and the father I God wants me to be.
This is a great reminder. My husband and I do tend to read the word of God when the kids are not around. But We are implementing more reading the word of God daily together as a family. We also do scripture memorization..;)
My husband and I have been married for almost four months, and we're trying to get into the habit of reading our Bibles and praying daily as a couple, rather than just individually. This has definitely been a challenge with our differing work schedules and the stress of getting our home settled (which often sparks a lot of bickering and unnecessary arguments), but we want to get that solid foundation laid before we start adding children to our family! We had never really considered reading the Bible out loud just to each other, but we're going to start practicing that together! Thank you!
Nothing beats sitting with your kids as a family reading the Bible and praying together 🙂 Our kids see us reading the word together and individually, we talk about things across the day. We've felt really encouraged and challenged by some of the topics covered today as it is so easy to get out of practice in the harder stressful moments of parenting. We have had to get very creative over the years and think outside the box of how we think it should 'look' so to speak. One thing we have done is subscribe to jellytelly! It is a Christian subscription channel, they have loads of shows but also 5-minute family devotionals! They a catchy, quick and specific to bring the word into the home and have devotions as a family. Our kids find it very hard to sit still and listen due to their disabilities, so we found this was a great way to capture their attention in a fun way, it isn't too long so either which is a plus and it gives a specific scheduled time (we do ours just after dinner) It has sections where you pause the tv and answers questions, applications and a prayer. We have found as we have got into primary/elementary years we've been having some great discussions and these 'pause' times have lengthened out, encouraging growth and allowing us to biblically address issues e.g sibling, individual challenges. The other thing we do is go to our local Christian bookshop online or in the store they often have fantastic resources to aid or help in making these times more fruitful and engaging.

Thanks for this! My husband and I have been getting up early to read the bible together. I'll try some of these suggestions out as well!
My husband and I have been looking for a good resource to help us study together.
I love you guys' consistency with posting content, i really look forward to them!!
Great i was just talking about this today
