JJ Wheat, Jaheim Berry among 7 more Clarksville High

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville High held their second signing ceremony of 2022 on Friday. The Wildcats community came together to celebrate the seven student-athletes taking their talents to the collegiate level.

“This event is an accumulation of many years of family sacrifices with school, practices and traveling with their teams,” said Clarksville High athletic director Shannon Cummings.

“The Clarksville High athletic department is so proud of each student-athlete as they continue to do what they love at the next level,” he said.

Each signee was introduced by their head coach at Clarksville High School. The coaches went on to detail how each individual impacted their athletic program’s culture and success.

Ray’shawn Bowling and Rosie Ritchie were also mentioned during the ceremony. Bowling plans to attend Bethel University, where he will play football. As for Ritchie, she plans to attend UT Chattanooga, where she will be a part of the dance team.

With the addition of the student-athletes on Friday who committed, the total has now reached 23 total on the year for the Wildcats.
