The wait for new episodes of Law and Order will continue for another month as season 22 will not be coming to NBC in the month of July.
While perhaps not the news fans are hoping to hear, the news is not too surprising when looking at NBC’s traditional fall premiere plans. While there are traditionally new series to enjoy during the month of July, NBC’s new and returning fall series typically kick off in September which is once again the plan for the fall 2022 season.
Therein lies the silver lining for fans anxiously awaiting the arrival of new episodes, in that while we won’t be getting the new season in July, we’re getting one month closer to the show’s return this September!
Law and Order season 22 premiere date on NBC
Although fans won’t be able to catch new episodes of Law and Order in July, the wait for new episodes won’t be too much longer as the newest season of NBC’s long-running series will be coming just a few months later.
As confirmed by NBC, Law and Order season 22 will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8/7c, just after the season 21 finale aired back on May 19.
