What is the rapture?

According to the Bible, there is a generation that will not see death (Mark 13:30). Instead, they will be removed from the face of the earth in what is known as the rapture of the church.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51–52).

We will be “caught up.”

The passage 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 full of wonderful hope and promise: “Then we who are alive and who remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17).M

“Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming” (Matthew 24:40–42).

We will “meet the Lord.”

The Greek word for “meet” carries the idea of meeting a royal person, or a person of great importance. That is because when the Lord calls us to Himself, we will meet the King of kings.

“In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also” (John 14:2–4).

“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure” (1 John 3:2–3).

    2. A salesman.

    Listening to these guys is no different than going to the movies or a car dealership. It's all the same principles. I should know, I've been all the above, and it takes one to know one.

  3. What comes first? 6 or 7? Read the immutable word of God in the King James Bible. Don't change it. Don't add to it. Don't mislead others. Oh, and I don't believe in the easter bunny either. Jesus is real. God is real. You had better be careful about what you teach people. Ezikiel points that in rather poignant detail. Study! Study! Study! May God touch you and teach you in Jesus Christ's holy name.

  4. I keep receiving repetitive dreams. Every time I do they always come into fruition eventually even if it’s weeks months or years even. Lately it’s all about a wedding. I’m getting ready for a wedding in the dreams. Then after studying revelation which I do on Sundays with a class, and then reading in the word late that night plus praying and listening to a YouTube video sent to me by a sister in Christ, as I was drifting off to a deeper rem sleep 1 night ago, there were three loud knocks – Sounded like it was coming from outside my bedroom window. It startled me out of a deep sleep. Why is this happening?

  10. Pastor, I love you. I have my life to the Lord at your service in 1993. You are a great teacher but so so wrong about the rapture. A false doctrine that has not even stood the test of time. Paul's hope was not to be raptured but for Christ to return physically.

  12. Greg Laurie. Still preaching garbage. Dispensationalism Theology is garbage by John Darby. And do you still follow the 4 point doctrine of Calvinism Mr. Laurie.? There's a way that seems right to a man but the way of its end is death. But there are 5 letters in tulip. Here I stand. I can do no other!

  13. “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. Matthew 24 Tribulation Then Rapture. Tribulation starts half way through Daniels 70th week and ends short of the 7th year. PLEASE GET READY to suffer with HIM before our REST.

  19. Get right with God friends, don't wait another day! About 500 prophecies fulfilled hundreds and thousands of years in advance prove the Bible is God's word. Believe and repent, Romans 10:9-10!

  23. I believe in the end times a lot is happening I see God separating the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the tares, good being called evil and evil being called good, many raising up claiming to be of God. Everyone are having dreams, on and on.

  28. We must FIRST devote our lives to Israel, our adoration of them must be great, we must bow our knees in reverence to them
    always in devotion and pay our tithes, be good noahides, this is what we must do for salvation is through a deep reverence of them.

  35. Matt 24 clearly states that when Jesus returnsAFTER all of the trouble THEN His angels will gather His people from the 4 corners of the earth to be with Him. Don't get me wrong, I would love to escape the trouble, but it is not scriptural. This teaching of escaping is causing a huge number of western believers to be unprepared for great suffering.

  36. The reality of the truth is not everyone "many" who say unto me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but only the one who does the will of my father who is in heaven don't just be a hearer of the word but a doer of the word least you deceive yourselves

  37. I am a pizza delivery driver. One night recently I delivered to a very kind man. He stopped me as I was walking back to my car he said "Can I ask you something?" I said sure! He said "Do you believe in Jesus?" I told him YES I DO AND HE'S COMING BACK SOON!!! I have no doubt if I would have said no he was gonna tell me about him. He was about his father's business for sure! He even said if I don't see you again soon I will see you in heaven. That still has me smiling.😁
