Today on the Bear Independent show…a brief “What Do You Do?” vid on prepping your OTC medications.

This topic is quintessential to preparedness for all doomsday preppers, homesteaders, survivalists, militia, minuteman, city prepping, rural prepper, urban prepper, normal people, or looking to prepare for SHTF WROL TEOTWAWKI or natural disaster. Whether your own personal SHTF is the 2020 elections, economic collapse, pandemic, civil unrest, martial law, food crisis, civil war, food shortage, EMP or CME, black swan event, or whatever, a prepper needs to be prepared for this topic. ***

Regardless if you’re a Viking Preparedness prepper, Canadian Prepper, into city prepping, or just normal people, you need to be ready for SHTF WROL TEOTWAWKI, which is why we’re discussing this topic today. Common prepper concerns are bug out bag, bugging out in general, food storage, security, communications, emergency preparedness, homesteading, budget, gardening, bushcrafting, end times, Torah, get home bag, survival, EDC, and all the things we discuss at this channel. ***

Subscribe for weekly Brit Hadasha (New Testament) and No Roots No Fruit Torah Study (Old Testament) Shabbat Bible readings, updates on SHTF TEOTWAWKI WROL Survival Tips, Homestead Updates, Tribal Leadership, Gear Reviews, Gardening Tips, Real World Experience and a complete lack of third-party advertising and hypothetical BS! ***

We believe at this channel that Yeshua is Messiah, that Jesus is the Christ, the anointed of YHWH. We teach and preach the prophets and the Torah of YHWH as given to Moshe (Moses) and retaught by Yeshua Messiah, Jesus Christ. It is our doctrinal foundation as Torah Observant Christians that we should keep the Torah to the best of broken ability, and not abuse the Grace of the atoning sacrifice of our Messiah Yeshua, Jesus the Christ; and that we become one with YHWH The Father through the Son, Yeshua Messiah. We are not militant Hebrew Israelites who have corrupted the words of YHWH The Father to suit their racial and political ideologies; we are whole Bible believers who keep The Way as taught by Yeshua Messiah, the Torah of YHWH The Father. ***

  1. Another good thing to have, an oral rehydration kit. It's like Pedialyte but stores indefinitely and can easly make gallons of oral rehydration solution. A World Health Organisation recipe but still worthwhile and well tested in the Third World.
    3/8 Tsp Salt/Sodium Chloride.
1/4 Tsp Morton Salt Substitute/ Potassium Chloride.
    1/2 Tsp Baking Soda/Sodium Bicarbonate.
    2 Tbsp + 2 Tsp Sugar/Sucrose.
    1 Liter Clean Water.
Flavoring optional. Flavoring can slow the process down. It needs to get through the stomach quickly.
Be sure to put the recipe in each kit. Written with waterproof ink on waterproof paper.
It dosn't cost much and keeps almost forever in a good container. Keep enough on hand for all your people it realy dosn't cost much. It is a life saver if a person has diarrhea or can't keep liquids down.
We have several 14 gallon kits around. An odd amount but that is how it worked out. Some of the kits are a hold over from the swine flu epidemic and as good as the day they were put together. Some has been used it works.

  2. When I was younger, if I got poison ivy on me I would jump in the creek and soak for a bit and it would go away….. dont know if this would work for everyone but it did for me….

  3. Loved the list Bear and Spot on for the OTC's. If I might Add one though it would be the lice medication RIT or something similar. body pests, even as hard as we try to stay clean, can be a serious hazard. Just ask any medical professional (and I'm speaking personally) we don't blink at much, but bugs……YUUUUUCK!!! (many eye twitches and shivers later)

  4. Thank you for doing this. The doctors wouldn't do anything for me so, yeah, I try to keep some meds around. I'm the one who had to do the shot in the butt cheek at the gas station. Had a sore throat for 10 years… shot worked. Go figure. Everyone around me is under mind control to not help me. I don't take it personally anymore. Seems to have stopped but we'll see.

  5. Just rewatched the whole video again while checking my bathroom cabinets. Excellent list… and also you're just hilarious going through with all the chemical names. Sha…leki,leki.. thya what?, lol.

  6. You talked about rehydration… i want to mention… Pedialite is excellent in that field.. they even have the hydration powder as well. a few things you didnt talk about.. Tums for heartburn, Peroxide for dental issues and wound care, orajel for mouth pain, Teatree oil for antifungal anti bacteria wound care. Not to mention visine for eye irritation, and nasal rinses for simple nasal issues.

  7. I carry red is dead to other things red totes is medical red rags for cleaning my rear if it ever comes down to that. Blue rags for dishes gray rags for cleaning the body.
Thanks for doing what you do we appreciate it very much.

  8. Interesting that this video was on 2 hours ago. About the same time I was inspecting my new new medical pouch for my Bugout kit. I decided to build my own Kit rather than purchase a complete kit.

A side note on my old kit. The alcohol pads dry up over time. I need to find a way to preserve small packets like that. Maybe some smaller Mylar pouches or just replace them at a scheduled time.

  9. I have an insane med supply(otc and higher) as well as herbs and ability to make my own home remedies .
It was the first thing on my list when I started "this" journey two years ago.
I only HIGHLY suggest you buy based on the "active" ingredients and percentage of it. As well as price per ounce when buying .

  10. Woof, thank you for the good first aid information, we the Scottish terriers from So Cal (Corona 🦠) fought back! Went to church on the beach and sang and worshiped. Hijacking the governor stupidity! 1,000 Christians! Sat 5,000 at a no mask, Recall Gavin NewsomRally! Whiskey Alpha Romeo! 🇺🇸🐾 Fluffy 🐿

  11. Don't forget some good ol fashioned vitamin C supplements….
Emergen C…or whatever, can be great in times of need on the move, for an immune system boost! Can prevent or lessen the effects of colds and such, or at least slow em down enough to find shelter to recoup 🤔😁

  12. Bear, you said that BluKote is for animals and humans, too. I found several online for horses, chickens and pets, but nothing for humans, nor did the BluKote for animals mention humans. We really need a solution like this for humans as well, since after the balloon goes up, the slightest wound – a tiny sliver, an unnoticed scratch, pinpoint blister – can quickly lead to an infection which can almost immediately turn into sepsis, a fatal condition without antibiotics. Hygiene will be critical, yet we will be so busy we may be slower to wash and take care of such little wounds. I would urgently recommend, if there is a BluKote for humans or if you have determined the animal version is safe for humans, that we place a container of BluKote on each handwashing station after the S hits the F, and frequently instruct people now, prior to that time, to wash hands constantly and immediately thereafter pick up the container of BluKote and examine one's hands, wrists and arms, applying the medication immediately to any area of insult to the dermis. Seems a wise approach to encourage purchase today, right?
