An autobiographical comedy about a gay boy growing up in the Soviet Union, his mail-order bride mother and their adventurous escape to America.

  1. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more represented by the dual crying in the back of a Taco shop and being fetishised by many guys for being an immigrant. This movie hit home in the best way possible. It was delirious and funny and sad and weird, just like life is. I’m watching this more than once for sure.
