Our interview with Dr. Judd Burton to discuss his most recent report, “The War of the Words, God-Kings, and Their Titles: A Preliminary Report on the Linguistic Relationship Between The Rephaim and Royal Titles in Eurasian Languages” #Nephilim #Rephaim #BibleStudy

The god-kings presided over prehistoric and antique civilizations, ruling with iron fists. When the age of the first such kings faded, the idea of the deified king was passed on to the rulers of men. The oldest of these god-kings in the historical record were the Rephaim—the feared tribe of giants in the ancient Near East. The Mesopotamians and Phoenicians called them kings and princes of the abyss, and their name became synonymous with the concept of the autocratic king. Unravel the mystery of how this word began as a corruption of an ideal, how it survived, and then spread to the languages of Europe, Asia, and beyond in this preliminary linguistic assessment from the Institute of Biblical Anthropology.

  2. It does not surprise me the that the P.I.E. roots have the "r" for the words for king/leader. In Hebrew, the "r" or reysh represents the "head, highest, chief, most important". If they are trying to claim this status over people, it would make sense to "invoke" the meaning of this letter. Ra in Hebrew means "evil". H7451
    רעה / רע
    ra‛ / râ‛âh
I love how the AHLB also includes "dysfunctional" as this is the antithesis of what Yah creates (everything with a purpose and good, ie, fulfilling designed function/purpose)- (רע RGh) – I. Bad: Something dysfunctional, wrong, evil or wicked.
Gonz, when you put up the Japanese ideogram for king, I immediately thought of the Egyptian djed. Possible connections???

  3. Really interesting! Maybe the most interesting topic I have heard in a while! And, very strange timing, I was just thinking yesterday that silicon valley is modern day valley of rephaim.
