Book of Revelation Chapter 14 source 1 COMMENT I was just wondering if your loved one is in Hell forever and you are in Heaven looking on how can that be Heaven? Wouldn't it be better if Hell is just total annihilation. If sin and the sinner are eternal (being that the strange thought that the soul is eternal) then why would God allow this experiment for Satan to run this earth to see sin play out and then leave it again as a place called Hell for sin to have the possibility to raise its ugly head again? Have you thought of how Heaven wouldn't be Heaven if we lived there knowing or even having the ability to look at people we know being tortured forever? My God's love is better than that. He will eradicate sin and the one who clings to his/her sin who hasn't given his/her sin to the forgiveness of Jesus. Do you not know how a soul was formed. Gods breath plus the soil of the earth equals a soul and when His breath is taken away it the body turns back to dust. It doesn't go to another place right away(Heaven nor Hell). This is all biblical. You just need to study the bible well and search for the truth there. In death there is no thought. Even Jesus refers to death as a sleep. Have you not read in Revelation of the second death that the wicked will have after the thousand years that the Devil will have to tread on a desolated planet? Why will the wicked have a second death? But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. κατεσθίω katesthiō by fire, to devour i.e. to utterly consume, destroyDEVOURED To consume destructively, recklessly, or wantonly:CONSUME to destroy or expend by use; use up.DESTROY to put an end to; extinguish. How my friend can they be used up and then live forever being tortured? Remember the Soul isn't eternal. Only God is eternal. The soul started and has an end unless it is found in the Lord who can make it eternal.
