Are you currently dating? Do you need dating advice? Are you new to the dating world and wondering what the stages or roadmap of a relationship journey might look like? If so, we made this video just for you. New year, new relationship(s), and new people.

The stages of relationships are: attraction, acquainting, building trust, going on dates, seducing, honeymoon, doubting, or commitment and stability. Which of these relationship or dating stages do you find yourself and your partner relating to? Did we miss any stages?

Whether you’re single, going on dates, or in the LGBTQ community, we hope this video can reflect the typical journey as well.

  2. I wish I had done this with my first relationship. I thought I had it all figured out and was ready for everything. Turns out, you cant rush this shit. Just take it incredibly slow and just let shit go if you need to.

  3. As someone who isn't coming from an anglo-saxon culture (France), it is funny to me because here we don't do that at all. What we do is we find an occasion for seduction after we crush on someone (usually it comes with relatively heavy alcohol drinking) and jump immediately to the honeymoon phase – if it doesn't happen that we have that phase, then we break off or become sex friends. The dating model is very cultural. It'd be nice to have a video where you talk about cultural styles of cognition and their relations to how they model relationships in different places, because they redefine these kind of events quite a bit.

  4. So far I’ve been dating this one girl for about 4 days. We kissed a few times before we started dating so we skipped pretty far ahead, and now were doing that flirty β€œI love you more” thing.

I love her so much, but I’m worried that we might be moving too fast, although I don’t wanna sow down, and I don’t think she does either.

Anyone got any advice on how to keep it going?

  5. The Eighth Stage: Arguing about who gets custody of the remote, getting divorced, then arguing about who gets custody of the Westlife albums, "You 'ave 'em." "No, you 'ave 'em. Fair's fair. I had the Cliff Richard ones!".

  8. I once dated a guy older than me, we haven't been in all of these stages. We met online, had some convo, we started meeting personally, and we don't date outside, he just always bring me to his house, and do some stuff.
