Is the rapture taught in the Bible? What is Paul teaching in 1 Corinthians 15:51 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13? What does it mean to be left behind?

  1. What about Revelation 14:14-16 which states: "14 Then I looked, and there before me was a white cloud. Sitting on the cloud was someone like a "Son of Man" with a gold crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 Another angel came out of the Temple and shouted to the one sitting on the cloud, “Start using your sickle to reap, because the time to reap has come — the earth’s harvest is ripe!” 16 The one sitting on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested."

This happens before the Second Coming, and before the Wrath of God. It comes before a reaping and trampling of grapes into God's Winepress, yet this "harvest" doesn't seem to indicate any wrath. Rather it seems to line up with Matt. 24 as the "sign" of the Son of Man.

  2. One resurrection at the last trumpet/Day of The Lord after the tribulations dead in Christ rise first, then those who are blessed to be alive during those times to join Jesus in the air to escape his wrath upon all creation that scripture of Matthew preceding what you shared it states that the eagles/vultures will be gathered which means the one left on earth will be dead.

  3. Rapture is real and its over the scripture. Rapture is taught by the scripture. There has been 6 raptures in the bible the last one is the 7th. There are lot more verses than those 2 verses. Revelations 3:10. Zechariah ch:14. The last verse about taken left is way off. Thank God that we are not saved about getting the Rapture correct or not. But just know when hundreds of Christians disappear whatever you do. Don't take the 666 microchip which will most likely be so called vaccines against a virus. Bill gates vaccine is called 666 and his protein that he is using is called luciferarse has lucifer's name in it. God Bless Bryan!

  4. Just an observation that there is no `rapture` until the dead in Christ rise first and we join with them-
Revelation 5th Seal-`These are they that have come out of the great tribulation`
    Matthew 24-`Immediately AFTER the tribulation….`
Revelation 6th Seal-“…and from the wrath of the Lamb, for the GREAT DAY of his wrath has come..`
Revelation 7th Trumpet-(Is this a further exposition of 6th Seal)….the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of God…you have taken your great power and begun to reign…TIME has come for judging the dead, rewarding your servants, and for destroying those who destroy the earth`
2nd Peter-`….heavens will disappear with a ROAR, elements will be destroyed by fire, the earth will be laid bare`
But not all is bad news…..Luke 21:36 PRAY that you may be able to escape all that is coming upon the earth`. Also- Rev. 3:10 `Because you have KEPT my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial…` so chin up and plough on!

  5. 1 Second coming in 2 parts. First to call up His bride to His side to fully glorify us and lead us to Heaven and our fathers house. HE DOES NOT LAND ON EARTH! This is the RAPTURE. The second part, which completes His second coming, occurs at the conclusion of the 7 years of ever increasing Tribulation. It is then that He reigns over all the earth in a victory over anti- Christ. He rules from JERUSALEM!

The rapture has been imminent since the days of Saint Paul. His advice was to "keep looking up". "Maranatha" (Jesus Comes) In other words His coming for His bride could have been then, at anytime, but that the new body had to be completed… the "fullness of the Gentiles" Paul spoke of in Romans. Romans chapter 11:verse 25. It is "IMMINENT"!

ALL CHRISTIANS ARE WITH CHRIST IN HEAVEN DURING THE RULE OF anti-Christ in the 7 years of Tribulation. But people are saved! And many faithful will die. They will NOT take a mark of the beast and witness by it their allegiance to the one world ruler who is actually Satan ! He it is who covets such power and glory and who hates Jesus Christ the Lord God and Savior of all believing sinners ever. 144, 000 Jews are saved. (Rev.7) and a great multitude of Gentiles. The 2 witnesses preach in Jerusalem for 3 1/2 years and are killed by anti-Christ and raised by God and taken up to Heaven before all eyes on earth (TV! ?). I think Elijah and Enoch. Both never tasted death and were "raptured" …taken up.

THE RAPTURE (instant removal at the call of Christ from the air/ Holy Spirit in us HEARS!) The next Bible based event for we, the Bride of our Lord Jesus Christ. (true church of the faithful). Until then we have troubles in this lost world but NOT Tribulation as in Revelation! We are NOT appointed to God's wrath! Never! We are saved in Christ and He keeps us. Even death will not separate us since when we die our spirit returns to God in Heaven and we await our new and imperishable body like that of the Lord Jesus! At the RAPTURE we will be joined to a imperishable body like that of Jesus Christ, eternal in the making and able to travel the galaxies and so much more!

Look at John 14:3; Titus chapter 2: verses 11-14; Revelation chapter 3: verse 10; 1Thess. 5:9; for pre-trib rapture soon coming as you say. When the last "christian is saved" we are out of here at the call of Jesus Christ. Romans chapter 11:verse 25. It is "IMMINENT"!

Romans chapter 10: verse 17 "Then faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God."
2 Samuel Chapter 22: Verse 50 "Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, out of the countries, and I will praise your name."

In the midst of chaos and the spirit of hate & destructiveness is the truth of Jesus Christ.
We need to take hold of the Lord's promises! To be a courageous Saint who stands up for Jesus Christ against all odds!
Satan hates us. He hates: God's life insurance :
"Jesus Christ Is Lord & only He Saves". "AMEN "

There is no greater praise than the blessed truth of God's word to the glory of God.

    THE ESSENTIAL GOSPEL

Our Lord God and Savior: Son Of God; Without beginning nor an end John 1:1 has given us the gospel to share with the world.

Mark 16: Verse 15: And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

How can anyone hear the "good" news? Romans chapter 10: verse 17 Then faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God.

    Romans 10:
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Isaiah chapter 7: verse 14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal, the body was mutilated, the blood was poured out, but the bones were not broken, buried and risen on the 3rd day.

John Chapter 3: Verse 16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans chapter 3: verse 23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans chapter 6: verse 23

"I am the way, the truth and the life: no one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14.6)

    "1 Corinthians 15:
    1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

" In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians 1: 7

Matthew chapter 26: verse 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

"And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Hebrews 9:22

Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast.

    Romans 10:
9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart man believes in righteousness; And a confession by mouth is given for salvation.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John chapter 3: verse 16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Rev.21: 8

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. ”Romans 5: 1

  6. Clearly scriptures were left out on this topic of the rapture, Rev. 12:5-6 teaches a rapture 1,260 days the seven year trib. begins, placing this rapture in the middle of the tribulation. Matthew 25:1-13 places the rapture of the bride at the midnight hour, a time of total darkness, 1 Cor. 15:51-54 places the rapture at the last trumpet, meaning the end of the seven year tribulation just as 1 Thess. 4:13-18 teaches the same theology at the last trumpet, or when you read Matthew 24:29-30 the Lord Jesus testified he will not return until the end of the great tribulation and this is when the dead in Christ shall rise first and the rapture of 1 Cor. 15:51-54 and 1 Thess. 4:13-18 will take place, but this is the second rapture for the body of Christ that endured until the end of the great tribulation, however it does not explain the mid. Trib. rapture of Rev. 12:5-6 and Matt. 25:1-13 which is for the body of Christ or the man child, meaning the sons of God in Romans 8:14 revealing the first rapture is for the bride and the second rapture is for the body of Christ.

  7. 1 minute ago (edited)
Study the KJV Holy Bible. Two resurrections only from this date, June 26, 2020.
1st, for the good people who obey God, on the day of second coming of Jesus Christ.
2nd, for the wicked people on, after 1000 years,
to be burned in the lake of fire until consumed.

  8. When I first read the Bible I thought just like you we'd go through the tribulation then be caught up. Then I heard others and thought oh man are they right or what. But I think nobody wants to go through them days. I know one thing you didn't mention, and that was the church isn't mentioned during the Tribulation in Revelation. I thought that a good argument for the rapture. But your right comfort ourselves just knowing Jesus is coming.

  9. He doesn't realize how right he is! The churches teach that today is the only day of salvation…not true! Not what the Bible teaches. There's more than one resurrection according to book of Revelation. There will be a day of salvation for all people who never knew or heard the name of Christ. Such a beautiful plan, really! God is love and everyone will be given the chance to know him and, then, decide — life eternal or eternal death. Perfection!

  10. In the end there will be only 1 truth and we will all just have to wait and see which it is. But I think there is “the blessed hope” somewhere in the gospels. Sure gives me hope.

  11. I disagree, here is why:
    Rapture vss 2nd Advent (Coming)

    1Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the LORD Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the Trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the AIR: and so shall we ever be with the LORD.

How can this be when He returns at the 2nd Advent? He doesnt step foot on earth, we meet Him in the AIR.

Here is something else for you.

    1Thessalonians 3:13
To the end He may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ WITH ALL HIS SAINTS.

He comes with all of His saints. All of them!!!
The church is called saints throughout the Epistles.
    Romans 1:7, 8:27, 12:13, Romans 16 (whole chapter). 1Corinthians 1:2, 6:2, 14:33. These are literally a FEW I can post.

How do you explain He COMES with all of His saints if we are resurrected when He comes? The church being resurrected at the 2nd Advent does not fit with scripture. Scripture cannot be broken! John 10:35. If it's broken, then something is not right!!! And you need to recheck your doctrine.

This clearly teaches that Christ returns for His church, and resurrects them. Then we return with Him later, and when we return with Him, we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, 1Corinthians 5:10 and are judged for our works, 1Corinthians 3:10-15 which do not condemn us, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise, Ephesians 4:30,
We are judged by Him and earn our rewards, because the scripture says "to the end He may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God." 1Thess 3:13, judgment must begin at the house of God, the house of God is the church. 1Peter 4:17 with 1Timothy 3:15. Our works determine our rewards, 1Corinthians 3:10-15. And He has men's rewards with Him when He returns, Revelation 22:12.

    Revelation 19:11-16
Heaven opens, behold a white horse…in righteousness He doth judge and make war….the armies which were with Him followed Him upon horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean…A name written on, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Full verses are NOT posted here, read the full verses)

    Compare 1Thessalonians 4:16-17 with Revelation 19:11-16.

In 1Thess Jesus Himself descends, there is no horse or army.
In Revelation 19, heaven is opened, He is on a white horse, and armies are following Him.
1Thess there is a trump, no trump in Rev 19. But there is a SWORD, and there is not a sword in 1Thess.
1Thess 4 we are meeting Him in the air to be with Him forever.
Revelation 19 we are following Him down to earth so He can make war and judgment.

The two Advents are different!!! They are NOT the same. The rapture is gonna happen before tribulation, we come down from heaven with Jesus. Look at Revelation 19:7 there is His wife, and she is ready to earn her rewards. ❤ and she is with her Beautiful Loving and Awesome God that gave Himself for her.❤That beautiful God of ours. He is precious in our sight!!! ❤ How blessed is His Church? Very blessed I may add. 😍

  12. Bryan Wolfmueller: Those mentioned that died in 1 Thess. 4:13 are those that died in Christ (with hope) and without Christ (no hope), which are not the same as those in vs. 15. Those in vs. 13 are now in heaven or hell. Those that died in vs. 15 are the tribulation saints, which occurs prior to Rapture. It's after tribulation that the tribulation saints are resurrected. The moment they are resurrected then we that are alive and remain shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye with them, and shall be caught of with them (tribulation saints) in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. This takes place after the tribulation of those days. God is: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
