Every year as the Holiday season approaches more and more the subject of pagan origins surrounding Christmas becomes a big topic. In the mid 20th Century it was not so much of an issue, unless you were a Jehovah’s witness or member of a more stringent Pentecostal group. The 21st century came with internet, messianic movement and Hebrew roots igniting in some circles anti-Christendom, pretty much those ceremonies that seem to have Catholic origins became demonized. Of course we do NOT support the worship of saints or statutes but holidays that were celebrated by both Catholics and protestants came under the scrutiny of a new brand of scholars and self proclaimed experts with their PHD’s in Googology. Then a gorilla war was started but some rather clever Rabbis that saw the division that was growing amongst Christian capitalized on the division starting campaigns to further the divide until the Body of Christ has been left wounded, bruised and battered nearly to the point of death.

WHO KNOWS how they counted years? here in america, the day we are born is day one, but in asian countries, they count from CONCEPTION, and when was JESUS CONCEIVED, could be DEC 25? idk, just a passing question/thought
do you think Jesus celebrated his birthday?
637 comments and 99% of the people didn't even listen to Steven and Jana.
The verses in Romans 14 May very well have been speaking of fast days. Also within the context they are talking about those who had become vegetarians because they felt they could not be sure if any meat they bought or ate at someone else’s house had not been a sacrifice to an idol.
Thank you for this information. Please consider that even atheists give gifts at Christmas. They are not considering this to be in keeping with following the magi. The exchange of gifts did not happen when the magi found the baby king. They did it in an act of worship. In the years that I kept Christmas I never gave gifts because the magi were an example of giftgiving; I did it because that was the Christmas tradition.
Thank You
Thank You very much for doing the research that proves me wrong… I owe some people an apology. Thank You and God Bless!
How could "early Christians celebrate December 25th" if they didn't use the same julian or gregorian calendar? This makes no sense to me. What was the actual day called, that you say that they were celebrating?
I love your and Janna's teachings but I am confused by this.
From YahuShua HaMashiach, Our Lord and Savior ,the Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy -For The Lord’s Little Flock, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear
This question was asked of The Lord: Lord, by putting You first, and refusing to take part in the modern holidays of men, are we dishonoring our parents and family who say we should take part?
Thus says The Lord YahuShua: Beloved, a sincere desire to be free from the iniquity of this world is good and well-pleasing to The Lord. For one who truly loves Me seeks to please Me. And those in whom I dwell will run from these holidays of men, which I hate, despising them. Yet one who remains in disagreement with My Word in the Volumes can in no wise be gathered, for they have denied Me. And any who reject My Word, in favor of the doctrines and traditions of men, embrace that which runs contrary to Me.
For I tell you the truth, anyone who refuses, disagrees with, or speaks against My Letters or My prophet has rejected Me in favor of their own way. Pride has ensnared them, and arrogance has become their close friend. Behold, they have embraced the world and its evil ways, and seek not the approval of their Father in Heaven, but of men. And all who seek the approval of men must walk through the valley with them; and all who remain friends of the world have made themselves enemies of God, as it is written. Therefore all lovers of the world shall surely be left in it; they shall not escape! For assuredly, I say to you, this world shall be shaken and the glory of men shall be broken down! And in like manner shall all those left in the world be humbled, severely abased – many broken and uplifted, and many more broken and condemned, says The Lord.
Therefore concerning these holidays
Of men, which I hate…
Let all those who have received
The love of the Truth depart from them;
Let the division be made clear…
And let those who say they know Me,
Yet make no effort to pick up their
Cross and follow Me, bear the weight
Of their burden in the Day of The Lord.
Therefore, concerning the question of breaking one Commandment in favor of another, the answer is this: I AM FIRST, of which The Commandments also testify. For those who truly love Me seek to obey My voice, and those who obey My voice have also fulfilled The Moral Law. For I am, and have always been the goal at which the Torah aims. And all those in whose heart I am foremost serve Me without constraint, seeking always to place Me first, above all else. For these walk in My ways, doing those same things I did. They do not add to the Word which I have commanded them, nor do they take away from it. Behold, they keep The Commandments of God, as He commanded them and as they are written, and not as the churches of men would have them be
Thus those who say no to sin, and stay separate from that which is an abomination in the eyes of God, have broken no Commandment. So then to honor any parent who transgresses The Law, by taking part in these perverse holidays of men, is to transgress The Law. Yet by honoring Me in truth, obeying the Word of The Lord, one can by no means transgress The Law. Therefore those who ask, “Would you break one Commandment to obey another?” speak without knowledge, having also failed to recognize the lie hidden within. For those who ask such questions have given heed to the subtle deceptions of the evil one, by which they are also led, seeing contradictions where none exist.
Again I say to you, who you
Choose defines what you do…
And whosoever chooses another
And not Me in truth has chosen themselves,
And has done according to their own will…
Yet to disobey God is sin…
Therefore call on My name and make
Your repentance full, by departing
From those things which are not lawful,
Standing apart from those things I hate,
And you shall surely be delivered…
Says The Lord.
Christmas is a pagan holiday. it doesn't doesn't dismiss everything else. the candle holder symbol of Judaism is an idol if a Christmas tree is. it's the pot calling the kettle black
Steven, which book of the Dead Sea scrolls do you recommend?
Jeremiah 10:3,4 tells us the tree cut outr of the forest and decorated with silver and gold is worthless. Verses 17;10 tells us that God is searching the heart and examining our motives.
Thank you she did a beautiful job 🙏
Interesting how the ads prior to your video is for something esoteric/occultic.
Jana – God bless your body and health!🙏
I think of Ephesians 2:16. We are striving so hard to do what’s right for the Lord. You literally have the Lord at your fingertips, ask Him what’s right for you and your family. Remember, you can’t hear the Lord’s voice without knowing His Word. <3
Many here made right and good comments in Yah's eyes and again we do not want us guilty of idoltery but if we get corrected then it is up to us to repent for our mistake, and some of us remain stubborn against Yah's word and will be judged then by The Almighty YHUH . Let it not be so then and repent now to walk in His ways.
everything
Satan is a counterfeiter.
Deutoronomy 12.5, 12.30-31
Didn’t have time to listen to the whole thing this morning but why isn’t the menorah some kind of idolatry as well? And perhaps you answered and I missed.
Reading these comments I realize how many judaizers have followed you guys here from your Zionist days, they refuse to let go of their self-righteous blindness. You guys have the Spirit of God on this matter, that is very clear. And no, i don't like Christmas. But I LOVE God's Grace!!
The comments below concern me deeply. So few people understand the spirit of Grace, they have a firm grasp on the spirit of bondage. Or, rather, the spirit of bondage has a firm grasp on them. God bless you Steve and Jana, do not back down! I don't wear a ring or celebrate Christmas myself, for different reasons, but I would sooner be caught under a Christmas tree with an Easter basket wearing a Halloween costume than I would get caught up in this Judaizing spirit of condemnation and carnality and pride I see so many here wallowing in.
I am really enjoying what your wife had to say
The early Christians did not have the Gregorian calendar, for that wasn't invented until 1582. The early Christians had the Julian Calendar and The Nativity was placed on January 7th, the beginning of the liturgical year (the life of Christ throughout the year) including Advent.. Then Pascha is on Passover. This is a different date from your "Easter," most of the time. Look up the Orthodox Church, as many are still on the Julian Calendar. It seems the Gregorian Calendar placed Christmas on December 25th by losing 9 or 10 days. There really was a St. Nicholas, and he is a saint in the Orthodox Church. All of this speculation is that, speculation. The history of the Church is far more informative and understandable about the early Christians.
THANK YOU !!! for this study and new(to me) information. The tares have sown into the Wheats field again to steal the celebration of the immaculate conception of our Messiah.
1:22. Points out the Hannukah prayers. They are not commanded.
Good stuff. Note worthy.
Earlier though, pointed out Christmas trees are not what Jeremiah discusses. Ok. Are we instructed to set up a tree to worship our Lord? No.
However, The Feasts of the Lord are forever feasts, instructed for us to remember, the native born and sojourner. Each feast foreshadowing our Messiah.
And Jesus even asks his followers to remember the Passover, him being the Passover Lamb, then the First fruit offering.
(He wasn't the Easter ham-just saying)
Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.
I wish I could sit and just listen to you speak for hours. Blessings!
Thank you for putting yourself out there to clear this up for me!!! I appreciate what you do. God bless you 🙏 glad Jana is feeling better!!!
Oh come, let us adore him! Thank you for this and I agree with you. And I believe you are on to something with this separating being a possible plot of the enemy. Love you and may God bless you and your family and wishing y'all a very merry Christmas.
7 Feast, do you really have more time to take off work for other halo-days?
Nimrods birthday, pentagram above altar, a tree with gifts under the altar. Santa claus is the magical nephilim. When nimrod was resurrected he put gifts on a conifer. Ive not heard of the chabad thing. I listened not even thinking of the Magi. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Celebrating magi, ok but im coming out of babylon, skipping fake jews maccabees win Hanukkah
And thanks for all of the wonderful links!
Thank you soooo much, my kids are following the "Hebrew Roots" stuff. In fact the man they follow said he can read Hebrew and that he has a 300 year old scroll. He couldn't tell them he wasn't "jewish" or they wouldn't let him have it. A lie of omission. But he quit talking to me when I told him there were no Synagogues in Abraham's day. But my kids think he is so all knowing and that the bible is translated wrong and he is right about everything. And they listen to another person, who I listened to and he made no sense what so ever. Oh and the guy that they follow, said I serve another Jesus.
What bothered me was how many churches have a 'fall fest' in late October or Trunk Or Treat in which they celebrate Halloween. There is nothing biblical about Halloween. With Christmas and Easter the logic used to rationalize these holidays is celebrating the birth and later the resurrection of Jesus. But Halloween? There's no connection at all to Jesus, so I cannot fathom why churches integrate it into their activities.
They are STILL sacrificing to ha'satan!
Countless commentors below disagree with your justification of Christmas obsevance.
