In Depth Study On The Trinity, Purely From The Word

The Trinity

To start off I can say wholeheartedly I DONT KNOW EVERYTHING, my mind compared to GOD's is practically-nonexistent. What I do know and what I can say is purely based off scripture. However, understand this, GOD isn't someone you can just change the character of to fit you. Here's a small portion of who GOD is, from His very own word.

A. The Trinity is what we know God by, One being but three persons. The word trinity is never actually said in scripture however, what we know as The Trinity is true based off of scripture. This is shown in Deuteronomy 6:4 being only one true God and 2 Cor. 13:14 being three persons. 

`````````````````` We know God the father based off of; Genesis 1:1, 1:26, 2:7, The Creator of Heaven and Earth, The maker of all creatures and Humans, The Breath of Life.

Exodus 3:14, 6:2-3, 15:11, 20:1, God is the I AM, He is the Lord, No one is Like Him, He gives the law.

Leviticus 22:2, His name is Holy.

Deuteronomy 6:4, 32:6, God is One, He is Father and Creator.

1 Chronicles 29:10, He is the God and Father of Israel.

Psalm 19:1-3, The Heavens Declare His Glory, All things are made by Him.

Isaiah 43:3, 43:15, 64:8, He is the Holy One of Israel, Their Savior, He is King, He is the Potter and we are the clay.

Jeremiah 10:10, 17:13, He is the true God the living God and eternal King, He is the Hope of Israel and a spring of living water.

Matthew 6:9, 7:11, 23:9, Our Father in Heaven, the gift giver, Our Only Father and God.

Mark 1:9-11, Jesus is His Son with whom He is well pleased.

John 4:24, 5:26, 14:6-13, 17:1-8, God is Spirit, The Giver of Life, The Father and Jesus are one, The Only True GOD.

Acts 1:7, The Planner of Everything

Romans 8:14-15, Abba Father, Our Lord.

1 Corinthians 8:6, The One God and Father over all

Galatians 4:6, We are His Children. By Jesus blood and sacrifice.

Ephesians 4:6, He is over all, through all, and in all.

Colossians 1:15, The invisible God.

1 Timothy 1:17, Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, King, the Only God.

Hebrews 11:6, 12:9, He rewards those who seek Him. The Father of Spirits and life.

1 Peter 1:17, He is Judge over all.

1 John 5:7, God is three in One. ```````````````````` We know Jesus based off of; Genesis 18:1, Jesus appears before Abraham, Abraham bows before Him and calls Him Lord.

Psalm 2:7, 110:1 We are God's children, Jesus is the one who makes this happen. He sits at God's right hand.

Isaiah 7:14, 7:53, Jesus' birth is prophesied, Jesus' life, death, and resurrection are prophesied.

Matthew 1:18-23, 3:17, 8:29, 11:27, 14:33, 16:16, 16:27, 17:5, 17:27, 28:1-6, 28:19, Jesus is born, He is to be the savior of all, Jesus is God's Son, He controls all spirits and life, He rewards His people according to their works, We must listen to Him, He Knows All, He rose from the dead, He calls us to spread the Gospel to the World.

Mark 1:1, 3:11, Jesus is the Son Of God.

Luke 1:35, 4:41, 22:70, 24:26, Jesus is Holy, He is the Christ, The Son of God, He overcame death.

John 1:1-18, 1:29, 3:16, 10:30, 10:38, 11:25-27, 12:44-50, 14:7-11, 16:15-16, 16:28, 17:1-5, 17:21-22, 20:1-20, 20:28, Jesus is the Word of God, He has always existed, all things were made through Him and For Him, He is the Light of The World, He became Flesh, He is Full of Grace and Truth, He is The ONLY Son of God, Jesus and God the Father are One, Jesus is the resurrection and the life, If you Believe in Jesus you Believe in The Father and the Holy Spirit, everything that belongs to the Father Belongs to Jesus, He goes back to The Father and sends us the Holy Spirit, He has authority over all things and the ability to grant eternal life to all who follow Him and believe in His name, Jesus and The Father are One, Jesus is the Teacher, He gives us Peace.

Acts 1:9, 2:22-24, 7:55-56, 9:4-5, 9:20, Jesus ascended into Heaven, it was impossible for Death to keep Jesus, Jesus is the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God, Jesus is the Son of God.

Romans 1:3-4, 3:23-26, 5:6-21, 8:1-3, 8:34, 10:4, He was appointed the Son Of God by His resurrection from the dead, He gives grace and redemption to all who ask of Him in His name, He held of completely destroying sin in the beginning, Jesus died for us to show us His love, He completely takes away our sin and condemnation, He did what the law weakened by flesh couldn't do, Christ is the culmination of the law He fulfilled it all.

1 Corinthians 1:30, 2:2, 8:6, 15:1-8, 15:24-28, Jesus is the wisdom from God for us, our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, He's all we need, All things are through Him, we exist because He lets us exist, Jesus will conquer ALL things in the end of time including DEATH as the final thing. Jesus doesn't put Himself under Himself, he sets himself as subject to His Father.

2 Corinthians 5:19-21, 8:9 Jesus was made into sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God, Jesus became poor for our sake.

Galatians 4:4-5 Jesus adopts us.

Ephesians 1:20, 3:11, 4:7-10, Jesus is seated at God's right hand, He is LORD, Jesus descended from Heaven to Earth then back again.

Philippians 2:5-11, Jesus didn't consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage, He made himself Nothing by taking the nature of a servant, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient even to death on a cross.

Colossians 1:13-22, 2:9, He is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn over all creation, all things were created by Him through Him and For Him, He is before all things and holds all things together, He is the Head of The Body (the Church), He is the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the End.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-18, Jesus has power over death and promises to bring His people back to life.

1 Timothy 2:5-6, 3:16, Jesus is the One God and mediator between God and Mankind.

Titus 2:13-14, Jesus is coming back for His people, He will redeem us from all wickedness and purify us for Himself.

Hebrews 1:1-3, 4:14-15, 7:14-28, 9:12-15, 9:24-28, 12:2, 13:8, Jesus speaks to us, He is the heir to all things, He is the radiance of God's glory and the EXACT representation of His being, He sustains all things by His powerful word, He sits at the right hand of God, Jesus is our Only High Priest, He is able to empathize with our weaknesses because He took Human flesh and was tempted in every way, The difference is He DIDN'T sin, because He overcame Sin by His power we can overcome it too, Jesus is the priest in the order of Melchizedek “My King is Righteousness”, Jesus grants us a better covenant, Jesus lives to intercede on our behalf, Jesus has a permanent priesthood, Jesus is and was the perfect sacrifice for our sins, He is the mediator of a new covenant between us and His Father, Jesus will appear again to complete and fulfill the covenant He has made with His people, Jesus is the pioneer and perfecter of faith, He endured the cross on our behalf, Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever.

1 Peter 2:21-25, 3:22, Jesus committed no sin and no deceit was found in His mouth, Jesus entrusted Himself to His Father and didn't fight back against His false accusers, We are healed by His wounds, Jesus is at God the Father's right hand.

1 John 1:7-9, 3:2, 4:14-15, 5:9, Jesus is the Light and He is in the light, He purifies us, Jesus is faithful, We will be made like Christ when He returns, Jesus is the savior of the World, Jesus is The Son of God, God the Father Testifies about His son Jesus.

2 John 7-9, Whoever follows the Teachings of Christ follows God the Father and The Son.

Revelation 1:13-16, 5:9-14, 12:10-11, 13:8, 19:16, Jesus holds the Universe in His hands and all things are subject to Him, Jesus is the only one worthy to take the scroll in the end-times and open its seals, Jesus makes us His Kingdom and priests to God, Jesus is the Lamb who was slaughtered but lives again, Jesus is the messiah the Son of the living God, Jesus is the conqueror over all, all creation will bow and worship Him, Jesus is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. `````````````````` We know the Holy Spirit based off of; Genesis 1:2, The Holy Spirit was there in the beginning.

Judges 14:6, The Holy Spirit gave Samson strength.

Job 26, The Holy Spirit holds Power and Commands over Creation.

Psalms 51:11, The Holy Spirit dwelt with the Psalmist.

Isaiah 61:1-3, The Holy Spirit sends out His people to do the works He has equipped them to do, He covers us with His presence.

Joel 2:28-32, The Holy Spirit is God's Spirit as The Father and Son are One so is The Spirit, The Spirit gifts people with miracles.

Matthew 1:18, 3:16, 4:1, 12:28-32, 28:19, The Holy Spirit placed Jesus in Mary (A Virgin), The Holy Spirit came down on Jesus after His baptism like a Dove, The Holy Spirit lead Jesus where He needed to go, The Holy Spirit drives out demons, No-one should blaspheme against the Holy Spirit (blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the unbelief in His message as Christ being Savior), we baptize in The name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Mark 1:10, The Holy Spirit descended on Christ after His baptism like a dove from Heaven.

Luke 1:35, The Holy Spirit went onto Mary and placed within Her, Jesus. (There was no physical interaction between God and Mary She was a Virgin with Jesus)

John 4:24, 14:16-17, 14:26, 15:26, 16:7-14, God is Spirit so We should worship In the Holy Spirit, The Holy Spirit is our advocate before God, He reveals the Heart and Mind of God to us through His word (Jesus), We know Him because as Christians He lives within Us and is with us, the Holy Spirit teaches all things and reminded the Disciples of everything Jesus had told them, The Holy Spirit testifies about Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit exposes sin for what it is and reveals truth to us, The Holy Spirit only speaks what He has been told by The Father and Son, He glorifies Christ because of what He has received to make known to us.

Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 2:38, 10:44, 13:2, The Holy Spirit calls us to be His witnesses to the World, The Holy Spirit allows for miracles when it comes to furthering God's kingdom, He enters those who come to Christ immediately and washes us clean, The Holy Spirit calls those He needs.

Romans 8:9-11, The Holy Spirit is one with Jesus Christ and gives life and forgiveness to all who believe, you cannot have one without the other, The Holy Spirit raised Christ from the dead.

1 Corinthians 2:10-14, The Holy Spirit searches the depths of God and all things, The Holy Spirit is one with The Father, The Holy Spirit teaches us, The Holy Spirit gives discernment to us.

Galatians 4:6, Because we are God's children He sent the Spirit of His Son into our Hearts, to make us more like Christ. (This stuff is so awesome.....)

Ephesians 1:13-14, 4:30, 5:18, The Holy Spirit seals us as God's own possession, We aren't supposed to grieve the Holy Spirit (don't turn back to your old ways, rather focus on Jesus and keep growing closer to Him), The Holy Spirit fills us (Getting drunk can effect our ability to interpret what The Holy Spirit is trying to speak to us, that's why it's wrong for a Christian to get drunk (and unwise to drink)).

1 Thessalonians 5:19, Don't stop The Holy Spirit from working in you.

1 Timothy 3:16, The Holy Spirit vindicated Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:14, 3:16, The Holy Spirit helps guard what God has given us for His glory, The Holy Spirit lives within us as Christians, all scripture is God breathed.

Hebrews 9:8, The Holy Spirit set the first tabernacle to be an example of what was to come permanently in the future.

2 Peter 1:21, Prophesies come from God the Father but they are carried to people by The Holy Spirit.

1 John 4:13, We know we live in Christ and He lives in us by having The Holy Spirit (They are one)

Revelation 1:10, 22:17, The Spirits voice is like a trumpet, He calls all the “Come!” and take the free gift of the water of life.
